Dun & Bradstreet is hosting a special briefing on credit reporting reform provided by Dr Michael Turner of the United States based Political & Economic Research Council.  Dr Turner is one of the world's foremost experts on consumer credit and credit reporting.

Dr Turner will discuss his world first research Roadmap to Reform which provides key lessons for countries considering the transition from a negative to comprehensive credit reporting system. The research examines the implications of reform for:

  • Credit demand and performance
  • Identity fraud
  • Privacy and consumer protection
  • SME lending
  • Costs of implementation for credit providers.             

Dr Turner has been an active participant in D&B's campaign for reform of credit reporting laws in New Zealand and Australia.  His visit to New Zealand provides a unique opportunity to hear from one of the world's leading credit reporting experts on this critical economic reform.
