Our face-to-face and online learning programs include induction, professional skills development, technical and product knowledge, leadership and personal effectiveness, and are complemented by on-the-job coaching and educational assistance.
We are also committed to providing our team members with positive career development opportunities in support of personal and company goals.
The philosophy that is at the core of growing our team member at Dun & Bradstreet is:
- 70 per cent of learning comes from on-the-job experiences
- 20 per cent comes from exposure via peers, coaches and mentors
- 10 per cent happens formally through education (e.g. classroom, workshops, online).
Talent and capability
Performance and development plan
It's important you know just how well you are performing, how you can improve and what skills you need to build for the future.
For that reason, you'll work with a people leader to develop a performance and leadership-development plan. This plan details the goals you are required to achieve, the tasks you need to complete and the skills you’ll need for ongoing success.
At Dun & Bradstreet we are passionate about assisting team members through their career and providing access to tools which will maximise their performance.
In-line with this are initiatives aimed at assisting team members with their career path including development plans, career week sessions, networking opportunities, mentoring programs and training support.
Induction and buddy program
To ensure you are transitioning well at Dun & Bradstreet, we’ll set you up with the information you need during your first 12 weeks.
This includes compliance training, role-based training and orientation. All new team members will be inducted with a buddy to ensure a comfortable transition into Dun & Bradstreet.
Mentoring is a powerful development opportunity to realise your full potential. At Dun & Bradstreet, mentoring is a key component of our strategy for enhancing individual performance and leadership capabilities. Opportunities exist for team members to participate as mentees or mentors, with support from a mentoring guide and toolkit.
A people leader has an important job to do. Your team relies on you to stay engaged, challenged, motivated and high performing. Our people leaders are provided with support resources such as monthly bulletins, face=to=face and online training, toolkits and guidelines.
Talent management framework
Talent describes team members who have been identified as strong performers with potential to move into leadership positions in the future. Dun & Bradstreet’s talent management framework creates consistency in the way we identify, assess, develop and deploy talent.
To assist team members in pursuing broader job, promotional and career opportunities, education assistance may be available depending on individual departmental and team member needs. Certain criteria and eligibility applies.
Dun & Bradstreet’s global presence means there may be exciting and challenging opportunities to develop a career internationally. We support international assignments where there is an opportunity to increase capability and create a joint benefit.
